I was born and raised in Fresno, Ca. My father and mother were both very artistic. I didn't get into painting seriously until I moved to Santa Monica where I took a few classes and found that my preferred medium was oils.
I would say I'm self taught though, and continue to grow and learn with every painting.When I moved to Oregon I started painting dogs and donated many of the paintings to the Humane Society for their annual auction. Moving back to California gives me new opportunities to help others through donating art and also to improving my skills.
